Cement aerated concrete belongs to the category of cellular concrete based on cement binder components, in which the content of Portland cement is more than 50 percent.

Non - autoclaved cement aerated concrete has the following composition of components:

• portland cement - 50-60%;
• ground limestone, ash, slag and other fillers - 40-50%;
• "poroobrazovatel" - 1,8-2,1 kg. per cubic meter of aerated concrete.

The production of cement aerated concrete is much cheaper than the autoclave method of producing aerated concrete. Non-autoclaved cement aerated concrete is not afraid of water, frost-resistant, has good fire resistance characteristics.

The disadvantage of cement aerated concrete is that its shrinkage during operation is much greater (2-3 mm / m) than that of autoclave (0.3 mm/m).
